Orioles vs Blue Jays: April 13th Lineups, How to Watch

The Baltimore Orioles will play against the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday at 7:07 PM EST.

The Orioles will begin their second series of the season against the Blue Jays tonight at the Rogers center. The Orioles swept the first two-game series against Toronto and look to keep that streak going on the road. The Pitching match up favors the Orioles, but will they prove they can continue to win on the road?

Starting Lineup:

1. LF Craig Gentry

2. CF Adam Jones (8/21 with 3 HRs and a .381 average against Liriano)

3. 3B Manny Machado

4. RF Mark Trumbo (Only 4 for 21 with a .190 average against the Blue Jays’ starter)

5. 1B Chris Davis

6. C Wellington Castillo

7. DH Trey Mancini

8. 2B Jonathon Schoop

9. SS J.J. Hardy

Starting Pitcher: Kevin Gausman (0-0 Record in 2 starts, 5.40 ERA)

Gausman will have his second start against the Blue Jays this season at 7:05 tonight. He had a decent outing the first time around with very little run support but some bases loaded escapes. Gausman is yet to have a decision and I am sure he would like to get his first win of the season tonight, espically in a road game.

Blue Jays Lineup:

1. LF Ezekial Carrera

2. RF Jose Bautista (A lousy 1 for 15 against Gausman through his career, a .067 average)

3. DH Josh Donaldson

4. 1B Kendrys Morales

5. SS Troy Tulowitzki

6. C Russel Martin

7. CF Kevin Pillar

8. 3B Darwin Barney (4 for 8 with a HR against Gausman in Barney’s career)

9. 2B Devin Travis

Starting Pitcher: Francisco Liriano (0-0 Record in 1 start, ERA of 135 in 1/3 inning)

Liriano had a rough first beginning to his 2017 season. He only lasted a third of an inning while allowing five runs, sound familar? It would be great to see the Orioles hit Liriano early just as they did Wright last night in Boston. With that being said, Liriano has had success against the Orioles in the past and Im sure he is looking for a strong bounce back game, only time will tell if he gets one.
