The emotional roller coaster that is Maryland basketball is officially underway as the Terps take on Georgetown tonight.

Welp, where do I start? First things first, I am a diehard Terps basketball fan. Being that I get so emotionally involved over a bunch of 18-22 years olds as a 27 year old guy probably isn’t healthy. Therefore, my therapist suggested I write about the team, so here I am (JK, but maybe not? I’ll let you be the judge).

About me: My name is Scott Rosario and I am the co-host of the BMore Wired podcast which you can find here. I will be writing my thoughts about the team, breaking news and anything else involved with the team that I feel like mentioning.

This blog will not be a synopsis of the game or loaded with stats. There is much more qualified people for that job and way too much work for this guy. I simply want to get a conversation going and hopefully some laughs.

You may be wondering who am I to talk about the intricacies of basketball? Well to answer your question, I am very credible as I was the last guy off of my high school varsity team that went 8-22.

The boys are 1-0 after a very lackluster performance against American last Friday. Luckily, today is a new day. Unfortunately, Georgetown is the opponent and Turg, rightfully so, has no idea what the lineup will look like. This was evident Friday, as players were coming in and out like a god damn Chinese fire drill. Not even sure if that analogy works there, but you get the point.

Finally, will be doing my pick for the game against the number. Tonight’s line is Terps +6 and O/U 155.5. I hate myself for saying this, but I think I would have to lean Georgetown giving up 6 and I would probably hammer the under. Don’t see this being a high scoring affair.

I look forward to this journey and hopefully a few of you will join me on this roller coaster that is MD Basketball. Go Terps!
