It is Super Bowl week and the guys have plenty of winning Super Bowl prop bets. Player props, arrests, streaking.. you name it, it is talked about in this episode. As always, we run through the Terps, Orioles and Ravens, including a potential move for Brandon Marshall.
If you a regular listener to the podcast, you know Scott and I like to make a wager or two here and there. What perfect way to get ready for the big game than to talk some Super Bowl prop bets? We have scoured the internet – because everything on the internet is fact – and come up with a list of prop bets we feel are most likely to hit. We also offer some of the funnier bets that are out there, including one bet that almost makes us want to fly to Houston ourselves.
The Maryland Terrapins had a big week for both the football and basketball teams. D.J. Durkin has landed a top-20 recruiting class, giving Maryland football hope moving forward. Meanwhile, Maryland basketball is heading into a big game against Purdue. We also talk to potential of Justin Jackson entering the NBA and Melo Trimble staying for one more year in College Park.
Our 7s – seven random stories around sports – features all four major sports. Here is what we touch on:
- Barstool Sports banned from Super Bowl
- Kyle Shanahan losing backpack with playbook
- Raiders move to Las Vegas in trouble
- Chris Pronger checks Justin Bieber
- Lane Kiffin is really excited about FAU football
- LeBron James vs. Charles Barkley
- The Chicago Bulls mess
- Stephen Jackson smoking weed before games
- Cardinals hacking scandal punishment
We close the show talking about the two teams that we adore most in BMore, the Orioles and Ravens. The O’s have brought in Johnny Giavotella and Scott is so thrilled about it. We throw out some names to fill a corner outfield spot and Jose Bautista is a “pretty good guy.. said no one ever.”
The Ravens have stated that they want to make it a priority to keep Brandon Williams as he enters free agency. We both feel that he is too important a piece to lose so they need to keep him around. Scott surprised me with news that there are rumblings that Baltimore could be interested in bringing in current New York Jets wide reciever Brandon Marshall. Do it. Now.
That’s all for this week, BMore. Cue the music.
