BMore Wired Episode 19 – College Football Playoff Preview

Episode 19 of BMore Wired is dedicated to Maryland football, College Football Playoff Preview and the Baltimore Ravens breaking out hearts heading into the bye week.

It is a few days late due to some technical difficulties, but Episode 19 of BMore Wired podcast is finally online. We start the show discussing the Maryland Terrapins signing Mark Turgeon to a four-year contract extension, which does not make Scott too happy. Expect a lot more high ball screens over the life of the contract.

We have some great highlights to discuss in our weekly version of our “7s” which includes Kyle Schwarber telling his teammates to do some dirty things and a Philadelphia 76ers fan welcoming Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook to the City of Brotherly Love.

We are happy to bring back our good friend and fellow contributor to the show, Nick Larichiuta, to the show once again to discuss Maryland football and also give us his prediction of his College Football Playoff. He does not completely agree with the selection committee’s recent rankings, but there is still plenty of football to go for him to get his selections right.

We end the show with a discussion about the Baltimore Ravens, who went from a 3-0 team to losing four straight. The bye week could not have come at a more perfect time as Joe Flacco and new offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg have a lot to work on. The Ravens offensive line needs to play much better in order for this team to turn it around, but Flacco isn’t exactly surrounded by the best offensive talent compared to most teams in the NFL.

We are looking forward to Episode 20 (we never thought we would get to this point to be honest) and the plan is to do the episode on Facebook Live in addition to adding it to the podcast which can be found on iTunes and Stitcher. Until then, cue the music.
