BMore Sharp: Free Sports Picks for February 22

BMore Wired Sports Picks Baltimore Orioles logo

We are happy to introduce the first edition of BMore Sharp, where we offer our nightly sports picks and bad beats.

If you are a regular listener to our podcast or follower on Twitter, you know that we like to place a wager here and there. After the success we had in Episode 28 with our Super Bowl prop bets, we have decided to take our “expertise” to the next level by offering our sports picks.

We will always post our picks for the┬álocal teams – Maryland Terrapins, Ravens and Orioles – so don’t hate us if we go with the homer pick 99.9 percent of the time. But our first edition of BMore Sharp is a slate of college basketball action. Then again, it’s February so there is not much else going this time of the year.

Don’t worry, there is still money to be made. Here our picks for Feb. 22:

Total record: 0-0-0
NCAA Basketball: 0-0-0

All odds come from ScoresandOdds.com and are accurate at the the time of this post.

St. Bonaventure (-5) vs. St. Joseph’s – 7:00 p.m.

St. Joe’s enters this game in a world of hurt. Their top two players are out due to injury and have lost six straight games. Meanwhile, the Bonnies are still in the hunt for a first-round bye in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament. Further backing the pick is that St. Bonaventure is 5-1 ATS the last three seasons against the Hawks.

Northern Iowa (PK) vs. Indiana State – 7:00 p.m.

If you happened to watch the game against Wichita State, you’re wondering how I can back UNI after the 73-44 beat down against the Shockers. That embarrassing loss is exactly this is easy money. Indiana State currently sits in last place in the Missouri Valley Conference, while the Panthers had won four straight leading up to the loss against Wichita. More importantly, are 4-1 against the Sycamores in their last five meetings, including a 65-60 win earlier in the month. Take UNI.

Minnesota vs. Maryland (-4.5) – 8:30 p.m.

Homer pick here, but for good reason. We backed the Terps as +4.5 underdogs in the previous meeting at Williams Arena, and Maryland went on to win the game outright, 85-78. Now back at Xfinity Center and coming off a loss at Wisconsin, the Terps have something to prove and take it out on the Gophers with an easy win.

That’s all for today. If we’ve picked some losers, we fully expect to hear from you tomorrow. But since we only pick winners, a finders fee would be greatly appreciated.
